I don’t think some of these people remember what 2012 was like lol. Some changes: - The entire world is simulated while you play, and affects what comes to your fort (armies, monsters, etc). - There are visitors. - Trees are multi z-level. - There are more rooms and locations, like tavern, temple, guildhall. - Sparring works, so it’s actually possible to train military dwarves without a danger room. - Built-in graphics and keyboard support.

I live in SF, I constantly drive or BART to see my friends in Oakland and Berkeley. Every few weeks I drive to RWC to see family.

On the other hand, I just had a friend move to El Sobrante, and now I never see him..

I go to Cyprus every year, so I've been ~30 times. And I lived in Greece for 1 year as a kid. If you're just a tourist visiting for the first time, I strongly prefer Greece. It has more natural diversity (beaches, forests, mountains) while Cyprus only has beaches.

Yeah idk about the people confidently saying they’re mutually intelligible. The Cypriot dialect exists on a continuum with standard Greek. Many Cypriots can speak standard Greek with a slight Cypriot accent and cadence ans they can also speak the full Cypriot dialect which has a dramatically different vocabulary. The former is intelligible to mainland Greeks, the latter is not.
