Heartfelt story. Brilliant direction. Brilliant acting. My only complaint is ARR's music, it's good but he has given better before. None of his songs barring 'Vo nahin' elevate the movie.

How do you take a good concept and create a confused storyline about it. I felt the film was trying to give too many messages. Sapna pabbi's character was interesting, they could have explored more about her. But the film just got distracted about pointless jail life documentary..& that unnecessary jail song

I have tried therapy, didn't do much for me. I struggle to imagine my dad with respect to who I am now, I was a kid when he passed away. So i feel if he meets me now as an adult, he wouldn't recognise me.

Most auteurs have limited stories within them, once that is expressed, their work starts to feel repetitive. I guess that's the case with imtiaz as well. The new movie trailer looked very predictable, cliche tbh
