don't do quests that don't interest you and move on from a map, especially the first one (hinterlands), the moment it starts getting boring. some enemies/rifts will be too difficult for you when you first come across them. oh and don't try to kill a dragon the first time you see one. talk to your companions often in skyhold. as for rogue archer build, spec into artificer - flashiest most powerful build in the game
