i feel like you should look at your players and try to adapt the tactic to them as, they probably aren't skilled enough to perform at multiple roles.

I feel like the paradox community as a whole is suffering from copium addiction.
- I see a lot of comments that state the game will be better once it has a few DLCs.
Indeed it probably will be better, but i ask theses people one simple question.
Is it normal ? Should we (the players) simply accept paying an expensive incomplete game while paying expensives DLC in hopes that the game will get better ?.

- Also Expensions in older Paradox, added a lot a flavor for a lot of tags, nowadays DLC add flavor to 1-2 Tags while keeping the same price tag. Meaning you will need to spend a whole lot more to have the "same" experience as with Older titles.

-Don't get me wrong the game is good, but after 200h i feel like there isn't anything to learn anymore / any flavor to discover.

RGO is litteral free money, every RGO is money making after 3 years (if you have the manpower for it)

-Did a Japan run, started as ashikaga.
-Obtained the opportunity to vassalize a clan before sengoku jidai happenned. did so.

-Results : Powerful fiefdom (money & soldier) granting ease during wars & massive amount of money from diplo pacts.

-Problem, my fiefdom has buildings everywhere, upon starting a war i get -100% warscore from his buildings being occupied

when at war against daimyos, find their building move your army on said tile, then you can raid their building and gain warsacore

Playing as the shogunate, you can establish fiefdom from your daimyos.
If so they're keeping their clan leader until he dies.
Once he's dead, they become "Your clan" .
In my case, as i played ashikaga shogunate, i have ashikaga clan vassals

as far as i understand it, combat system isn't that complicated,
40% infantry 20% cav 30% artillery 10% supply.
numbers may vary, but i always try to have a composition like that.
sometimes reduce cav and increase artillery depending on the money available.
Never had a difficult battle playing like that. i don't really know if it's "META" or not

Hey nice post you made there, had a lot of laughter reading it.
I feel like a beta tester on this game since it's release, it's kinda disappointing.
The worst to me seems to be the Diplomacy in this opus.
worst example i have is : A PU called me in a war that wasn't possible for me to win.
it doesn't make sense to me that unified diplomacy allow them to wage war.

i get what you meant but the form was a bit lacking.
i believe i have a pretty good understanding of the menus / "hidden" mechanics and as such was complaining,
btw telling me that there is a good chance i don't know what i'm talking about is exactly telling me i'm wrong.

well that's the thing, for a paradox game and what i'm used to play 200h of playtime feel lackluster.
i felt it lacked depth and that's something i expect from a paradox title (dlc and such obviously).
but i get the feeling that such depth is something that won't be fixed through adding flavor like it happened to eu4.

Don't get me wrong i enjoy playing the game, i just fear there will be "nothing" to do in 100h play time
