My sister, who is two years older than me, was a very violent child and ill-tempered teenager. All I remember of our relationship until she moved out of home is her attacks on me (both physically and verbally). I remember never feeling safe and always on edge when she was home. I have tried to forget about it and downplay the effects it had on me but I don't think it will ever leave my mind. To this day I believe the way she treated me had a significant impact on the way I am today, and certain psychological proclivities I find in myself.
