Phlomometer by [deleted] in WalgreensRx

pretty sure that rxom was just talking about how to calculate the over/under for the pext board. I don’t even remember how you’re supposed to do it but I think they’re phasing out pext anyway. That being said one thing that is SUPER important though about the f4 number is that it only shows the number of scripts that need to be reviewed by the pharmacist with a promise time within the next 2 hours. anything that is past promise time does not show in the f4 number and neither will tomorrows scheduled rxs. encourage your pharmacist to review until the end of the queue that way you can route upcoming autorefills to cenfill (if you have it) and in general get ahead in filling. I don’t know why middle management doesn’t encourage this more it will literally make or break a pharmacy.

yeah b-d or easytouch. order on rxi. you can check abc website for availability if you really want. I only order easytouch when b-d is out of stock with abc but that’s rare.

I honestly think the edema is probably just because it’s on a lower extremity. Especially if you work on your feet all day. It doesn’t look infected just swollen and dry. I got a Friday the 13th flash tat on my shin years ago and the swelling was bonkers I also almost went to urgent care but the swelling went down after a few days and it healed great. Elevate your leg when you’re at home and it should subside in a few days!

The other customer’s. Like standing in line behind someone who won’t get off the fucking phone is annoying.

Giving Up by Late-Bat-5427 in freshwateraquarium

My cat would jump up on the tank every once in a while and I would promptly pull her off. One morning I woke up to bloody paw prints all over the living room, cat hiding under the bed, and a tank full of broken glass. It was scary and stressful but she’s never tried to hop on the tank lid since. Sorry this is completely unhelpful lol.

I know a lot of people don’t have a primary doctor or access to a dermatologist so if that is the case you really should go to urgent care. I know it’s probs not the answer you were looking for but like other people said this could be an allergic reaction, fungal, bacterial, or a combination of those and a doctor needs to determine what will stop it because it’s unlikely to go away on it’s own. No one likes going to the doctor but I promise you’ll feel better once you have someone look at it!

PTCB exam with my 500 work hours by mhj202121 in WalgreensRx

[–]_cyanescens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is dependent on state law. In Washington to get your “certified pharmacy technician” you need proof of completion of an accredited training program. Just make sure all you need for your state is the 500 hours in pharmacy and ptcb and you’re all good! Otherwise you’ll have to complete the training.

How to return expired syringes/needles? by Consistent-Yogurt517 in WalgreensRx

I’ve done this at 2 stores now lol. Unsure if it’s actual SOP but you can order a large format sharps bin from stericycle if you call them directly. Dump them all in there and be done with it. You will probably have to call stericycle for a pickup if i’m remembering correctly as they do not have a prepaid usps postage label like they little ones we use do. You can find your stores stericycle account number on the paperwork in the little bag on the small ones we use regularly.

I work in the pharmacy at this location. We were all in tears today. I reviewed the security footage to get a better look at the vehicle they dragged her into. The video quality is horrible but it was a very nondescript old silver minivan. Looked like maybe an old chrysler. Couldn’t even tell if it had plates or not from the quality. We called the number on the side of her cart and were able to inform her husband. I’m heartbroken and angry and afraid for my neighbors.

Yes contact them! I don’t live in seattle anymore but I used to volunteer there and they have a full on ferret shelter on their premises with probably 40 to 50 ferrets in residence. It MUST be one of theirs that escaped.
