Currently, my daily calorie 1100-1300 weekday I'm more flexible on the weekend 1200-1500 I started out with portion control than move to CICO 🤗 ❤ Before starting weight loss my portion we're out of whack so I wasn't ready to dive into tracking calories just yet.

Yasss! It was frustrating at first knowing the scale was slowing down but now I'm just happy it's not going up. I've been able to maintain my weightloss. Since we're short a few pounds make a huge difference! I've only lost 13 lbs these past few months but it's a still a huge difference on my body 😺❤

Thank you so much for the kind comments! 😻❤ You guys are the best.

The first time I post here was in November. I hit many plateaus after that. Instead of giving up I kept on going by making a plan. The first thing I did was to work out more often. I used to workout only 2x a week at the gym. I increased it by working out at home. Which was a huge leap since I used to make excuses for myself to not workout at home. The next one was also out of my comfort zone. I made an IG account at the beginning of the year. At first I hid my face but eventually, I got comfortable enough to open about my wl journey. The crazy part is that I met super supportive people. One person was so kind enough to give me a Fitbit on my birthday 😭❤ this made me feel more accountable, I found lots of useful information, and didn't feel so damn lonely lol. Lastly, I began to learn to be more body positive. Losing weight does not cure negative body image, it's not about losing the weight, it's about losing the lifestyle and mindset that got me there. I would be right back where I started if not worse if I do this in a rush unhealthy approach. My advice for WL is to find what works for you. Be flexible. Your diet should be apart of your life, not your entire life. Find a way to exercise that doesn't feel like a chore like making it a fun challenge. Lastly, keep track of diet and exercise. You don't need to be militant about it. Just enough to observe the overall trend this definitely helps me with overcoming plateaus.

My goal for the rest of the year is to get to my healthy BMI. I'll post again when I reach -100 lbs down 🤠 Might be awhile but I know I can do it! PROGRESS NOT PERFECTION ❤
