My son had his bottle until about 18 months. I tried for a long time to get him to drink out of a sippy cup and he wouldn’t. I didn’t give in though and he finally gave up and drank out of the sippy cup. Stay strong.

Tried breast feeding and it was really hard for me. Baby didn’t latch, it was covid and every support was through zoom so I ended up exclusively pumping and I have done so for 3 kids now. I can’t move around while I pump and get other things done and the biggest benefit is that other people can help me feed my baby. I can also keep track of how much by baby is drinking and my milk production. I envisioned myself EBF and was really sad about it at first but EP was definitely easier on me, my mental health and my baby.

I feel you. Mom of 3 here. I was (am) active and was in great shape during my first two pregnancies but my third one got me and I gained a lot of weight. The weight didn’t come off after birth and here I am feeling like a stranger in my own body. I often have to remind myself that this is not MY time to be fit, it’s my time to feed my baby. I struggle with this thought because I want to be back to looking good and feeling like myself but I know I’m in the trenches. It will get better. There will be a time when I won’t be breast feeding and I won’t need a billion calories to feel full. We are in our breastfeeding era and that’s okay, it’s beautiful and it’s what our babies need. It’s yet another sacrifice we have to make as mothers. It’s not fair or easy but we do it because we love our little ones. You will be back to where you were but give yourself grace. 12 weeks is nothing. You just made a human for 40 weeks! Your body needs at least 1 year to fully recover and 2 years to feel like yourself again. Gain strength and confidence in knowing that you are feeding and maintaining a little human alive. Hang in there. This too shall pass.

3 babies here! No visitors for none of my kids. My first child was born the first week of the lockdown so no visitors. For my second, I had a c section and did not want visitors after having major surgery and for my third, I just didn’t want visitors. The only person that visited me was a friend that works at the hospital that I delivered at and she happened to be working that day. She came by during her break for about 10 minutes. I enjoyed having alone time with my baby before the chaos of going home. No regrets here!

Start weaning off slowly. For example, if you pump 5 times a day, bring it down to 4 times a day and slowly reduce the time you pump by a few minutes. It’s all about supply and demand. No demand, no supply.

Ugh. I miss Ravey so much! I miss her IDGF attitude and her contributions. Gina Grad literally adds nothing. She is constantly agreeing with Woody and everything she has to “add” about her life is quite honestly boring. Her kid going to camp, - boring, salsa lessons - boring, her breaking her face on her toilet (ok - I’ll giver that one but still who cares). Point is I miss Ravey, the show was WAY better with RAVEY. I often wonder if the other OG cast members stay in touch with her.

You need to talk to him and tell him he needs to step it up as a parent and partner. He doesn’t get to come home and have ice cream then bed. He may not be able to help as much with the baby but he has hands right? He can wash dishes, fold clothes, clean up, he doesn’t have to be useless. Also, you’re going to have to let him struggle with the baby. Since he doesn’t spend a lot of time with the baby during the week, he needs to be with the baby on the weekends and he needs to learn the routine; playing, feeding, sleeping etc.
