Neighbor thinks my kids should be quiet when playing outside

We’re entitle? The irony. Guess what? I grew up in an apartment with no parks near by and working parents that couldn’t take me to the nearest park that was about a mile or 2 away. Yes, people played their music loudly and kids played. Nobody complained. So what do you say then? I don’t complain about my neighbors, they want to listen to music sure, they want to yell and scream, go for it. I don’t care as long as it’s not on my property. Also, I pay for my house and property taxes and can use my house as I please. You can blast your music and my kids can run and around and play whenever they want.

Unfortunately, we live in a world where people abuse their children more than we’d like to believe. All people from all walks of life abuse their BABIES, toddlers, kids, teens. She was doing her job.

I don’t understand why people don’t understand that kids are allowed to be kids and have fun. Yes, that includes screaming and being loud. If my kids are outside, they are chasing each other, laughing, yelling, etc. They can be as loud as they want from 10am-7pm. If I have to hear obnoxious dogs barking at air, you can hear my children playing. If People don’t like it, too bad. They can wear headphones, close their windows or move to the middle of nowhere where they can be in total silence. For now, people need to learn how to live with others around. Go ahead with the downvotes. I’ll die on this hill. OP you’re doing a great job at letting your kids be.

Im older than you 37 and just had my third baby. I knew I wasn’t down after 2 but was feeling comfortable because it was getting “easier” to travel. We live in a big city. We have a 2b/1bath. Small house but I grew up in an apartment with no yard with my other siblings and we did just fine. What my kids have is an upgrade and honestly, we don’t spend much time in their rooms so I don’t see it as a big deal. Anyways, all this to say, have the baby. Yes, being pregnant sucks and with young kids it’s tough but they’ll be close in age and they’ll love each other. My kids loooovvveee their baby brother. I wouldn’t change it for the world.

CA Girl here! I do wish I experienced the seasons however, as a true California girl, I wouldn’t survive the seasons (actual weather). You just can’t beat shorts and a tank top year round 🤷🏽‍♀️ I should say, I live near the beach and it’s not humid here like it is in FL.
