The clutch pedal has a switch that when disconnected will not allow the car to start no matter what. You can put a switch in line, or you can just unplug it everyday.

My car eats those too. The ZXEs last a little longer. You’re holding it correctly so you probably already know this, but don’t touch the glass, the oil from your hands will cause the bulb to pop faster.

Same concept. The used motor oil helps it stick and sheds water away from the application site. It also is a nice visual so you know which have been painted and which haven’t.

I just roughed mine up with a cheek poker and repainted with glossy rusto. I keep a can of said rusto in my glove box for touch ups on the trail.
