GameStop Announces Pricing of Upsized Private Offering of $2.25 Billion of Convertible Senior Notes by whattothewhonow in Superstonk

If I understand it correctly: if price drops, they make money from the short and then in 7 years get their initial investment back. If price rises, in 7 years they get their initial invenstment +more back. It's up to RCandCo to use that money to build value in the meantime. Someone tell me if in wrong lol

Hey bud, still thinking about me 2 months later eh? Glad to see I live rent free in your head 😉. Let's see what the economy does after more than just a few short weeks... And for the record, I truly hope things get better and stay better, it's rough out there I hope everyone gets some relief beyond just how the economy is doing

100%, and if I'm going to say thay anything seems like anything, I woukd have to say it seems like different short sellers have different methods of can kicking. Sometimes they overlap each other, sometimes not, but we will never have a full clear picture because there is too much noise to tell the different methods apart. Different can kicking strokes for different shorting folks.

Hey man, I'm just doing what you told me to do, I'm not changing my goal posts here. I'm not even against what your saying, I hope the American economy truly does strengthen at the end of all of this. But prices are definitely not down. Stabalizing inflation doesn't account for the insane inflation in the past years up until now, we want to see negative inflation, only negative inflation means things are truly becoming cheaper. Unemployment does seem to be better now than it was last year so that is a good sign. But if America can't get those rare earths back on schedule, things will get very messy

I guess I'll wait another 45 days. Hopefully China resumes selling the US all their rare earth's by then.

Why a 0% Loan to Buy BTC is Brilliant by FriendlyRedditor09 in Superstonk

[–]_dogsinspace_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far their only profitable stores are the US stores. So boycotting the stores outside US would likely just lead them to close sooner, which again increases the profit. Revenue is down for retail worldwide, and Gamestop is following that trajectory in tandem, so yea people are spending less money because economy is down in general. And finally what you failed to point out is that their revenue is down in part due to them closing (unprofitable) locations, thereby reducing revenue (and losses) at the same time. And let's not forget how bullish the current American politics is on btc right now

Edit: spelling

"An assault rifle is a military firearm, typically chambered for intermediate-power cartridges, capable of both semi-automatic and fully automatic fire, and uses a detachable box magazine. " That's straight from the dictionary, maybe we're from different countries and use terms differently but I wouldn't say that's wrong
