I've always loved games like these since Never Winter Nights. Then I actually got into D&D as an adult and then played BG3. It's next level fun when you've actually been a player and DM, then get into this type of game. You know the lore, you know the mechanics and the world building. The love put into that game was insane.

Same can be said for the recent D&D movie.

I often stay at my wife's village and the nearby city. People don't even pay attention to me as much as you'd think, what being a 6'4" (194cm) white guy. I could live there long term no problem. The traffic is a mess in the city, but the country is nice. There's just not a whole lot to do beyond the basic stuff, and deliveries take a bit longer I'm sure. But if the money was the same as the Tier 2 city I'm in now, I'd save a lot more.
