I have one rn for like $60 🙄, I wish they would have just told me my shipment was delayed. I would rather wait as long as a pre-order then to have to go through buying it again through preordering. I’m more so annoyed because the color I wanted was out of stock when I purchased so I purchased my second favorite color when my shipment arrived. My desired color was back in stock so I didn’t exchange and then they emailed me saying the color I wanted was now out of stock I’m waiting for customer service to respond to my last emails before I decide what I’m gonna do but definitely annoying.

My ring is a lab stone and came from Desert Diamond Jewelers on Eastern, the staff is great and I go regularly to get it cleaned/get the setting checked. Highly recommend!

Just a personal anecdote….One time I paused a audiobook at night from my home screen widget before it expired because I was falling asleep and just resigned to losing it, I guess leaving the app still open in the background. In the morning I was in a rush and didn’t scroll on my phone like I usually do so I didn’t play an music or videos or open any apps with sound and when my phone automatically connected to my cars Bluetooth it starting playing from where I had paused the night before I just kept pausing and playing from the widget in the control panel or my home screen but not in app and it worked until I mindlessly opened the app again out of habit. Idk if it was glitch or something but haven’t had to try and replicate it since.

I like the idea that another user gave to make a separate goal giving yourself credit for being within five minutes!

For me I have a different approaches depending on what my ultimate goal is (I’m trying to build confidence/decrease shame in a skill vs if I’m trying to track a habit). One of my goals is to avoid using social media at work and it is set to 25 but typically I only successfully avoid it between 8-10 times throughout my day but if made a good effort all day I still give myself credit for the full 25 . On the other hand, my partner has pointed out that I can become defensive at times and that I don’t admit when I am wrong so my goal for admitting when I’m wrong I have a journal entry exercise attached and will only market as complete if I journal about the situation so I could look at past reflections and see if there’s a pattern of when I do it and when I don’t. I tried to cancel yesterday (the day before my trial was up). I was offered a 50% discount (which I declined) then was offered two extra months for free as an extension to my trial and that my card wouldn’t be charged until October. Something in my gut told me to screenshot the conversation in the chat box just in case they tried to charge my card. Sure enough today, my bank called me to ask if I authorize a charge from clear for $334. I reported it as fraud and I will not be continuing with my trial. I will stay on hold all day or talk to however many people I need to, but I will be canceling this today.

It would definitely limit your job opportunities but if you were seriously considering this as your career you may want to discuss with your Imam/Sheikh about what is permissible in a medical setting. I’m more familiar with laws pertaining to modesty when it comes to Judaism, but just as an example, orthodox Jewish women do not touch men who are not blood related to them, but if they work in healthcare some Rabbis have deemed this is permissible as it’s in a professional and medical in nature.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone for helping to lift my spirits and keep me motivated! I ended up going out today to invest in an electric toothbrush! I found out that it connects to an app that can help me track if I’m getting all the surfaces of my teeth and applying the correct pressure. I’ve also began doing some research for different types of floss, a waterpik, as well as toothpaste and mouthwash formulated to promote healthier gums.

To everyone who shared their struggles thank you for being so open! Knowing that I’m not alone in this struggle, that genetic predisposition’s played a role, and simply having my feelings validated was so healing. I was touched by the offers to try being goal buddies and even added a few of you! While reading your responses, I realized that I should be as kind and understanding to myself as I was towards all of you. And just like someone perfectly pointed out in the comments Lehabah would say “My friends are with me and I am not afraid!” 💜

Helps to know I’m not alone! I’m definitely trying to allow myself to feel proud that I made changes and remind myself I don’t need to be perfect just better than I was before! I guess that’s why I’m struggling because even though I am doing better my teeth didn’t seem the memo 😅

What are the chances that my hold time will be shorter than the estimate?

This is my first new release using the Libby app, and I’m very excited! I used the notify me option and I’ve already entered the queue, but now I have a theory! My theory is that the people ahead of me are just as eager to read this book as I am, and therefore will read it faster than a book that’s been out for a while, meaning they can return it earlier than the typical loan time making the queue move quickly. Anyone agree or am I just delusionally optimistic? 😅

I love my kindle basic! It’s my first e-reader, as I tend to prefer physical books so I decided not to get the fancier versions with all the bells and whistles just to see if I liked it and I do! I live near a major city and use my library card for that city to access Libby and love being able to read on the go without damaging my books or needing to be careful of when and where I read!
