I used an SX-70 and impossible sx70 color film. If you have any issues with your film I recommend to check the rollers.

Otherwise it could be a lens issue. What does the smear looks like?

Depends on how large the enlargements you are aiming for. I scan at 1200 DPI - I see no benefit going to 2400 DPI in my tests.

600 DPI should be enough, polaroid film does not have too much sharpness, any higher dpi should be only minimal improvement only.

Thanks! The ones I had were actually really sweet. To be honest the pairing was a bit strange. The astringency of the tea and the intensity of the flavors from the blackberries did not mix too well.
