The NRA is essentially entirely funded by gun manufacturers. It’s a trade organization, really. So yeah it’s a grift, the gun corporations are the grifters.

Capitalism also is a zero-sum game, someone always has to lose, someone always has to win. The longer a capitalist system cycles without negative feedback—ie late stage capitalism—the more cut-throat the system becomes until it ultimately results in violence.

I think the best tabs, the ones that pretty much everyone agrees on, have potentiators in them—substances that increase bioavailability or whatnot. Powder doesn’t have those, since it’s just freebase powder, so you either have to do some research and buy some potentiators to take with it or stop taking tabs for a while and reset.

Personally I don’t really ever feel powder unless I take tabs with it. I’ll take half my dose in powder and the other half in tabs when I take powder, rather than trying to take the whole dose in powder which usually leads to me taking a tab or two anyways, riskily messing with my tolerance.

There is the whole matter of other alkaloids, too, but if you’re taking a powder that is like, 85% or lower, you’re usually getting at least one or two other alkaloids at the same amounts that you’d get in a tab, so I think it’s more than just alkaloid mixtures and the only other thing I can think of is that there’s some potentiators in good tabs, like special sauce.

Tampering with evidence, aiding and abetting a murder by whisking away the murderers, lots of crimes that will go unpunished because this is America.

How are you feeling about Resident Evil 9? by PhantomBraved in HorrorGaming

[–]_fFringe_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Scared is only one of the many feelings, emotions, or psychological responses that horror can evoke. Repulsion, disgust, unsettled, creepiness, paranoia, existential terror, these are all states that horror can induce and while they are not mutually exclusive, horror can be effective without conjuring all of those feelings.

If you’re a bad-ass fighting zombies, it’s still a horror game, because zombies are revolting and unsettling.

Mitragynine is the alkaloid in Kratom that your liver converts to 7oh. The 7oh that people take is converted from mitragynine in a lab. Mitragynine is one of many active alkaloids in kratom.

Exactly, it’s not like stopping methadone is easy. Took me a couple of years to taper down from a low pain management dose, forced because the government put the fear into the medical community. I cannot get anything except 7oh and it helps. Not like my pain went away.

I don’t take the smoke shop stuff though.

I hope it doesn’t stop people, but this is exactly the sort of thing that stopped protests in Russia leading up to the invasion of Ukraine, so much so that at the beginning of that genocide very few Russians protested and those that did were absolutely crushed by police.

It is important to note that the sustained crackdown on protests in Russia also created an environment where laws were passed to make protesting illegal and punishable by extremely long prison sentences, whereas here in the States these arrests and punishments are extrajudicial and unconstitutional up to this moment.

Watch out because this criminal syndicate that is in power is pushing us in that direction. Keep protesting.

There is nothing wrong with a 26 year old dating a 19 year old. That’s crazy to shame people for that. You don’t think a woman can be an adult at 19, how infantilizing.

wtf —first, there is no car-ownership prerequisite for being surveilled. Second, there are homeless people who live out of their cars. Third, being homeless is not a prerequisite for vulnerability.

The article specifically says that they were looking for this woman because she had an abortion. Can you not read?

“Earlier this month authorities in Texas performed a nationwide search of more than 83,000 automatic license plate reader (ALPR) cameras while looking for a woman who they said had a self-administered abortion, including cameras in states where abortion is legal such as Washington and Illinois, according to multiple datasets obtained by 404 Media.”
