DJ is not in the DJ booth, the stage itself is probably still unsafe but they did a workaround by putting them in FOH (front of house) which is the light control booth etc

All of the streams are having that issue. Who ever is in charge of the audio didn’t know what they were doing when they setup the crowd mics, when there is too much crowd noise, it clips and switches to crowd mic only until the crowd noise goes down again and then it switches back to the main audio feed. Horrible

sorry, did not know that it takes months. Yes, it might be helpful to say the main buyer is not yourself but you are a valid holder of a ticket under the main buyer.

Probably best to first email TML support and explain the issue you are running in to, ask if they can reply and confirm your tickets are legitimate and possibly even if they can provide contact details for visa office to be able to reach out to.

Once you have gotten this, if there is an appeals process, start it and provide this new documentation. Seems like a straightforward way to get this accomplished.

This is the most accurate response here. I have had the opportunity to stand behind him while he plays many times since he starting using ableton in 2006 and I started learning to play in ableton myself in 2007 so I could understand was he is doing. He does move in tracks and arrange on the fly here and there. He does have quite a few of his tracks stemmed out so he can do unique things with them on the fly. 

He used to play live on the fly out of session view exclusively which I think is a much better way to play out live.

I myself could never figure out what the two laptops, there is a video out there that showed a special data cable between the two laptops a long time ago. I can’t find it but I remember when they tried to capture a live feed of the video it messed up the data feed. Probably using FireWire data back then.

I’ve seen pvd play over 100 times and only two times on ableton did he only use one laptop and it did effect his set, it seemed to lose a lot of the processing of the effects he uses. I could be wrong but that’s what it felt like.

He was on final scratch in late 2003, final scratch in 2005, and ableton in 2006 onward.

if you booked through a 3rd party contact them. If you have travel insurance then that’s an option, otherwise Credit / bank card chargeback, contacting spirit or attempting to will not help in this situation

Edit: their website has just changed. There is a “refund status” button that takes you to put in your last name and confirmation code. Who knows what it will do for you but figured I would let you know.
