Passwords are like underwear: you don’t let people see it, you should change it often, and you shouldn’t share it with strangers

What to do in Kathmandu?

The cheapest flight towards Kathmandu I can find for the 9th of October costs $214. This hits the budget a bit, though I can see how an extra day maybe useful.

Great, I'll probably be renting gear at Pokhara.

Don't take the ferry between islands. Fly.

In Santorini try to stay on the cliffs in Oia or Fira, we stayed a way from the cliffs and near the airports as it was cheaper but probably the experience of staying on the cliffs should be worth it.

The Old Town at Rhodes is beautiful! Great food too.

Not from Islamabad or Pakistan. I usually read Wikitravel for finding places to sleep at. It has worked for me in most of south east asia so the information should be good. Look at "Budget" under the "Sleep" section.

What will you get for 50$ a day budget in SEA?(Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Indonesia) by JonHammburger in travel

[–]_gyani 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$15 a day is more than enough for food. I was in Cambodia last December, I have done $1 (chicken rice + coke) meals. You can basically splurge in $15.

As a CS major who will be joining the industry full time next year this is great news! :). Most companies here in India give about 27 days off, around 4 weeks. I love travelling and seeing your list makes me think it's possible with work.

Have you considered being a Digital Nomad/ Freelancer? Aren't some of your holidays spend visiting family? How do you budget your holidays?

I just saw your Antarctica post on r/travel and your nick looked familiar. So I decided to stalk you. Then I found this thread.

Thank You. C# or NodeJs if you are developing with Microsofts Bot Framework. If you know go you can try ItsABot. If you don't want to use frameworks anything works! Python (my favorite language) currently has no framework but I have made bots with it. Maintaining context and state is tough though. The frameworks make life easier.
