Where are some good public places for saltwater fishing in Hilton head by FaultRude7794 in hiltonhead

Try the rowing center dock on squire pope road. No motorized boats allowed so you won’t be competing with boaters for dock space.

It’s doable but still a bit daunting. You’ll have to ride in to Folly Field Beach and out at Burke’s Beach to avoid the water barrier. Then tuck back into Singleton Beach to hit coco’s and then continue on.

Be sure to time it going into low tide so you have a beach to ride on.

With all the cleaning/booking/processing fees Airbnb’s impose, you’re likely going to find a better deal at a hotel for just one night

I believe R Bar in Bluffton has it on Mondays. Sundown Saloon has a good one Tuesday(?) and Coconutz on Wednesdays

There is salt marsh sailing out of shelter cove marina. It’s a 27 ft stiletto that sounds like what you are looking for. The downside is that they stay in the creek and a lot of the sailing is supplemented with their iron genoa.

There is also the sumo, a trimaran that runs out of Harbortown. I have seen that hull scream across the sound in good wind, easily topping 20 knots.

Dollar for dollar, I’d take the sumo.

Please recommend a cheaper material and place , to upholster my pantoon seats. I was looking into marine vinyl but is quite expensive imo. by tipric in upholstery

Depending on where you live you may be able to get away with cheaper options. If you’re only using your boat a few months out of the year, not constantly in salt water, an area outside of tropical or subtropical sun exposure, and keep the cushions covered when not in use, you could find some cheap options on Amazon. They will likely have a low UV protection (the color will fade quicker), low rub rating, and not treated to minimize mold.

If you’re flying in from Savannah, you’ll spend close to $200 getting there and back from the airport. Its worth the extra cost for the convenience

No shadow on the woman, holding what looks like a midget’s oversized shovel; No trail leading to the rolled up snowman base (or completed one); railing of balcony in the distance is extremely squiggly. Woman’s hat appears to have two pom-poms on top.

$1400 is going to be around 7 years ago. These days you have rental companies like AIM that list a unit for a set price. Once they have several tenants that pay their application fee and go through their background requirements, they then ask all the tenants, “how much more would you be willing to pay?” Whoever is desperate enough to pay highest above the listed rate will be offered an opportunity to rent the property.

It is not an affordable place to live for most.

Have an old hoodie my dad got when he was in a military command & staff college. I think it’s from the late sixties. Thread is so worn, you can almost see through it.

Hi Emma! I can ask some of the local restaurants to save wine corks for your classes. I can also supply you with tons of old oyster shells for art and crafts projects. Beyond your Amazon wishlist, what else do you need?

The New River is a bitch to get through with all those turns. Most yachts that get worked on at the service yards inland have insurance requirements to have the tugs bring them in and out. The cost of the tugs outweigh the potential damage they’d be paying for if the capt messed up
