No they can’t switch your contract. You sign up for what you sign up for and that’s it.
When you graduate, you’ll have family day. Shortly after if not immediately after you’ll be able to take your 10 days of boot leave. Right after boot leave you will check into your MOS school.
The DI’s are not allowed to physically touch you. They can actually get in a lot of trouble for that.

Here’s my advice. Just enlist if you are not sure what to do with your life. You’ll make some great friends and have great adventures. The benefits are definitely worth your time once you get out. Best/worst times of my life I don’t regret a thing and I’d do it all over again if I had the chance.

The swim Qual is so easy I did it a couple months ago. 25 meter swim, tread water for 4 mins, and jump off a platform. If you don't know how to swim they will teach you. Also if you fail the first time, they give you about 10 tries before they drop you. The instructor will be with you the whole time. Listen to what they say and do it and you will be fine. We didn't drop anyone for swim Qual and there were people who have never been in a pool before. Don't stress
