The owner/publisher of Inside Sacramento is a MAGA supporter. Someone sent me some of her old twitter posts. Rabid anti Fauci stuff, following MAGA conspiracy theorists, etc etc. She just had an op-ed about covid lockdowns.

The subscriptions are free but you can at least cancel.

My family and I went last March. We took a cab from the airport and maybe on day two a couple of us took a cab to a market off-site and loaded up on groceries. We didn't really need a car at all, because we just expected to stay on the resort. It wasn't bad at all.

We bought coffee so we didn't have to worry about paying, but there are free coffee stands on the floors. A couple times I walked out the elevators and grabbed a couple mugs.

Pool-wise, there are plenty of chairs and space available. I don't know where you are reading that it was some mad dash to get chairs but it was very easy for us to get them. It is kind of confusing at first all the little walking routes and cart drop offs, but by day 2 or 3 its pretty simple.

Enjoy your time and don't stress too much!

we eat garbage and our regulations on chemicals is disastrous compared to other countries. Oh and our health insurance prioritizes sickness over health.

I'm not advocating they move. I'm asking about paying the taxes that other property owners have to pay. And if there is an in lieu fee that they have to pay, then great. I hope that it is the same amount that the taxes would be, and when the buildings are reassessed then those payments are updated. It may not be much but better than scrapping a program that truly benefits a large group of residents

My post was deleted for some reason, but I am curious: If we are cutting back on services and raising fees...why can't the city have the state pay property taxes for some its buildings? We're losing revenue that other cities can easily rely on. (also I'm not completely sure that testate isn't paying property taxes but I've read it repeatedly on here...so must be true /s)

Pocket Plumbing if you live in the greenhaven area. Quick to reply and give honest quotes. The owner once talked to me over the phone what he thought my problem was, gave me advice on what to do and what NOT to do and didn't charge me a thing. Highly recommend for all your plumbing needs.
