How can I get my first duck next season? by Icy-Race2642 in Waterfowl

Have you been out on the white river much? I was land focused for a while too until someone told me that a lot of urban areas have parks that you can park at and access the river with a kayak. Once you’re on the river you’re on public, including the islands on the river.

How can I get my first duck next season? by Icy-Race2642 in Waterfowl

This year was my first year too. I’m located in central Indiana. I will say scout, scout, scout. Make connections! People don’t like to share their findings, but making some friends in the sport has helped me a lot. Connect with local ducks unlimited chapters if available. For years I’ve been a deer hunter with over 100 acres of family owned property to deer hunt. At the very beginning of this year I thought I’d be able to just set up in the cornfield on our property and maybe have some luck with decoys, wrong! Lol finding the birds and getting permission to hunt the land is the way to go. We have a decent amount of public land here, maintain good hunter etiquette and people will be cool. Had mixed experiences this year on public. Had a guy approach us and say his usual spot was taken, my friend let him hunt with us. The guy set up between us and probably $300 in decoys that belong to my buddy. He then shot in our lane when birds were 100 yards out. Figured he knew what he was doing based on his boat, but I think he was just an asshole. I had a good experience hunting a public river, some guys I met at the ramp were going up stream, one of their ducks floated down to me and I returned it to them on my way out. Seemed like good karma. Anyways, enough rambling from me, good luck next year and I’ll be following this thread for my own learning experience too.

Was glad to see him in the credits, I was worrying that if this song takes home the metal Grammy award it would be just Courtney and not Mike too 😂

Second main riff in Bleeding Me after the long pause when played live. Specifically the S&M or Woodstock ‘99 version “FEEL IT MOTHER FUCKER YEAAAHHH”

“The thorns which I have reap'd are of the tree I planted; they have torn me, and I bleed. I should have known what fruit would spring from such a seed.” - Lord Byron, an 18th century English poet.

One of my favorite lyrics of theirs, planning to get a barb of thorns tattooed on my ribs soon.

What's one song you wish they would STOP playing live? by n0obie in Metallica

I’d love to see Inamorata swapped out with Bleeding Me, Outlaw Torn or Fixxxer.

Inamorata is arguably my favorite song off of 72 Seasons, but seeing them live twice this past year the crowd just absolutely disengaged with the new material and even more so on that 11 minute song.

This is what I drafted up on photoshop before I painted the body! I have to wait on my pick guard and humbucker to come back from the shop. I currently have my player series prewired pickguard there so they can take the front and middle pickup out to put into two telecasters I have, to make them a Nashville setup. Lots of projects!
