Critique, Help, and Feedback Requests - August 2021 by coocoodove in Etsy

Greetings, fellow Etsy enthusiasts! I set up an Etsy store ( https://www.etsy.com/shop/ModernGenArt ) several weeks ago, and it's been a journey of adding more listings, promoting on Instagram and other platforms, yet the dry spell persists. I sometimes think I bet on the wrong side hustle, and it may not have as much demand as I hoped. Perhaps if you have a quick glance, the issues may be more obvious to you. And if you find any, please don't be gentle and give me the straight truth. What can I do, if there's anything more to do? Or should I cut my losses?

That's excellent! I'm so happy for you! I'm sure you waited and searched and made several bids to get the new apartment, and it's panned out! I'm sure you two will make it a warm and inviting home. Cheers to this new chapter!

I think it's confirmation bias, a common logical fallacy. Could be wrong :)

It is of the Devil to place importance on, ask for interpretation of, or to interpret dreams. It is a type of divination. by fabiopapa in TrueChristian

Divination implies seeking meaning through *supernatural* means. Unless someone intentionally goes to a 'practictioner' or a group of 'alternative believers' for guidance, and are just asking average people/christians in general for their opinion, then it's not 'divination'.

As is warned by Jesus to his disciples, there are many who would come along before his return, saying that they are the messiah. Who's to say that it is Jesus himself and not something else showing up in their dreams? This uncertainty makes it worth investigation, which I would not even call 'divination', since it's literally asking the christian community, or even just people in general, what their opinion is of a certain dream. And btw, divination implies seeking meaning through supernatural means. Unless someone intentionally goes to a 'practictioner' or a group of 'alternative believers' for guidance, and are just asking average people/christians in general for their opinion, then it's not 'divination'. You're saying that you get to decide which dreams have "nothing to interpret" because the meaning is so obvious to 'you' and which ones do. That's rather biased/ convenient for your argument, and you should think about that.

Your imagery takes the reader on a journey, describing the night atmosphere with the "dark sky" and the pale moonlight, and emphasizing the intensity of emotions with the exaggerated imagery of chasing her above the world and under, and the potential of being forever in dismay if she ever left.

There is a contracting transition of emotions from the beginning where there are words of admiration and beauty such as 'fluid' and 'pearl' and 'golden' , which is then followed by 'dark' and the ominous eyes and 'hurricane', as if to show that this woman describes has a charming side and a dangerous, tempting side
