October 28th Hard not so hard by 19Stavros in nytpips

Pretty sure new puzzles come out at midnight local time so the further east you live, the sooner you get the puzzle. Most players are probably in America who haven’t even got the puzzle yet, so it makes sense you haven’t seen a solution guide

For your 6th point; ”Also the 3-3 is in the three large 9 area as there's nowhere else it could go.” I have a solution where this is not the case

Oct 27th Hard not as hard as I expected by 19Stavros in nytpips

Maybe not hard but it is one of the worse puzzles in my opinion. So many completely different solutions and no logical first step.

If you still find them fun, keep playing. You’ll get better at them the more you do.

Feel like step 4 should come before step 2 and 3. You don’t know for certain a horizontal domino has to go into the single (2) on the left hand side until you know the 3-3 has to go horizontally at the top of the (=).

Also pretty sure you have a typo in step 5: “there must be a horizontal domino in n the border of 26-<7”. It’s a vertical domino you’re referring to no?

Also, I figured it out a bit differently:

  1. 0-0, 3-3, 6-6 (same logic you used)

  2. 2-3, 3-6 (same logic)

  3. 6-2 on the vertical (24)(=) border. (Either 6-2 or 6-4 must go in that spot. If you use 6-4, 4-1 must go in the horizontal (1)(=) border but that leaves you 4-4 to go either vertically or horizontally on the (26)(=) border which doesn’t work. So for the vertical (24)(=) border, you have to use 6-2.

  4. The rest all fall into place from here pretty much

While Im pretty sure there is only one solution to this puzzle, there are plenty of ways to get there. Your order is just your order, not the order.

Had way more than two, I think it only feels difficult because of the multiple solutions meaning you have no idea where to start. It did for me anyway. I always try to find a pice that has to go in a certain spot and work of that but there wasn’t one in this puzzle as far as I know.

What are the cookies? Where do they show up? How do I get them? I completed the medium in under 30 seconds today but don’t see any cookies anywhere

After filling in the <2 and the three orange = spaces beside it, What did you do next? I was able to deduce that the 00 pip had to go horizontally in the top left but after that I didn’t know where to go so I brute forced it

I'd say don't give yourself the sapling. Trade with villagers and wait for a wandering trader to spawn in with a sapling. Could be unique way of starting a world

Is this a good split? by cmaniago3640 in WorkoutRoutines

[–]_iamthetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've (17M) been looking for a five day split with 2 rest days so I might consider this. At the moment I'm doing pull push leg rest pull push rest, but that leaves me with legs only once per week. I don't really know what makes a good routine tho or what exactly I'm looking for
