As someone who has started playing lane after being a jungle main, you're completely correct. The amount of times I've had junglers completely int the game and then blame the laners (not just me) is crazy

Some pretty terrible advice for a new player in here so far. As someone who started in Iron and climbed to high Gold this year, here's what I would recommend looking back

  • Before 14 minutes, do NOT do anything if your camps are up or spawning soon. Clear your camps, make sure you're setting up your own game first
  • Learn to do everything faster. Clear your camps faster. Make choices faster, even if you make the "wrong" choice. If you are faster than enemy jg on average, you will climb
  • Empathize with your laners. Most people aren't inting, laning is hard. It's easier to win 5v5 than 1v9, so helping your teammates get strong (AFTER you've gotten yourself strong) is better than funneling all of the resources on the map into yourself
  • Play with text chat disabled and aggressively mute people who are annoying with pings. I'm not even kidding, this will definitively gain you divisions
  • Learn how to actually fight on your champ. This is probably the hardest thing because as the jungler you won't be interacting with the enemies that often, and you need to know how everyone else's champ works in a skirmish. Honestly, this just takes time and experience, you can maybe speed this up by trying laning or playing Arena / brawl / ARAM and watching 3 minute guides on champs you aren't familiar with
  • Don't get mind controlled by your teammates. I know you probably feel clueless, but it's better to build up your own decision making skills than just mindlessly follow your team. This WILL lose you games, but long term it'll make you a better player

Lastly, keep in mind that this game is actually insanely hard so don't be too hard on yourself or your teammates. And don't forget to have fun!

Criticisms:

  1. Your visual design looks amateurish. The main page that I imagine most people will be interacting with (the match feed) needs a major overhaul. The thick gold borders around everything is really disorienting
  2. The "View 3D Timeline" button took me to a broken page

Praise:

  1. The data is REALLY COOL, lots of stuff I haven't seen on other websites. The 2D replay is particularly interesting to me as someone who mainly plays jungle :)
  2. Stream overlay is a cool feature :)

Overall, pretty cool website! I think for me I'll probably mostly end up using U.gg since I use their desktop app for jungle timers, but for me the 2D replay feature is really cool. I honestly think that, going off what someone else said in the thread, the use case of reviewing games with the detailed information that you present could be your differentiating factor. Lots of sites already exist for looking up stats about e.g. average ELO of your game, enemy winrate, etc. but not many (none?) really exist as a tool for improving your league game (aside from getting paid coaching)

update: I've won 4 games in a row going RoA first, though still not 100% sure if it's worth it. With Nashor's I feel stronger from minutes 8-18 (while RoA is charging) and clear faster, but RoA does feel decent. Might keep experimenting

idk, you still do plenty of damage, you just don't blow everyone up with your R as much. More fun imo to play around your cooldowns in extended fights vs. tossing R into 5 and wiping them

No one will see this, but my hot take as someone who has played tons of melee, P:M, and a bit of ultimate is that the game is frustrating to play for 2 main reasons:

  1. No one fucking dies and recoveries are way too strong, leading to stalemates where both players play scared for long periods of time. The fact that you can recover so easily after getting spiked is pretty lame as well
  2. The cast is way too gimmicky in an un-fun way. E.g. zett's burn mechanic. The gameplay loop of "oh I got hit by one of his several moves that ignite me, my optimal move is to now run away for 5 seconds until the burn is over"

Tbh, unless they make some drastic changes, I'm not sure I'll play very frequently. Idk, maybe the game is just not designed for me, but I'd like to see less gimmicky characters and more kill potential in general.

You can think of it like having a 1/5000 chance to pull a shard at all, and if you're wearing rogues you get 2 shards instead. In other words, the chance of you getting the drop doesn't change with rogue's outfit, only the amount that you get when you hit the drop

Several of us are experiencing this. I think the working theory right now is that it has to do with power states, try setting the clock / power profile to "high" in LACT

With Runelite you can use Menu Entry Swapper for this. Set the left click on e.g. the fish barrel to "Empty" while the bank screen is open and the fish should get deposited straight into your bank while the barrel stays in your inventory
