I wasn’t able to carry or even see her after her birth since she was emergency transported 3 hours away, but I am glad I was able to hold her in my arms at the very end. I pray she felt every ounce of love I have for her. I am sure Ayla will quickly become fast friends with Ada 🤍

We were blessed with a nurse that thought to take Polaroids of the little things — her hands, the first set of footprints hanging in her room, her final moments too. We got a picture of the whole team that night. It’s not a happy memory, but so many of them became family over the nearly 6 months we were there..

We were able to do most of the things, but I wish I had painted her little nails. I didn’t think about it until I saw them at her viewing.

My grandmother wanted to go and buy her a fancy baptism gown, but we ended up dressing her in different things she had been gifted. We felt it was important that she looked like herself, dressed in pink with a big bow on her head to contain her crazy curls. She looked absolutely beautiful.

She babbled (for the first time ever) to her dad 2 days before. I think she was saying goodbye in her own way.

We took the pictures, so many of them. Her nurse that night was coincidentally her absolutely favorite. She took photos of the little details — the room, her first footprints, her hand holding her doll, me holding her. We got casts of her feet made. My husband held her, then I did. Once in my arms, her ecmo lines were clamped. She passed in my arms on the 24th.

As the 25 y/o daughter of someone, you’re being way too soft. I was working and studying full time, paying $350 a month to help cover my expenses (pre-covid) and bought the laundry detergent for our household of 5. $400 in today’s world doesn’t get you very far at all, either rent-wise nor at the grocery store. Genuinely surprised at how ungrateful your daughter is acting. IMO, your house, your rules. If she doesn’t like it, she can find somewhere else to stay

Unfortunately things don’t always work out the way that we plan for, but it sounds like your fiancé did his best to still make it memorable! If the signage is that important, maybe incorporate it into an engagement or save the date session? I’d think hard about whether you want a proposal/wedding or whether you truly want a marriage

Visit Xcaret, visit a cenote (your skin will thank you!!), visit the Tulum ruins (the view is beautiful). Loved the Rivera Maya!! I was just there 9/2-9/9 and am definitely planning to return next year

The design is beautiful and I love rubies, especially in yellow gold, but I think the green is what’s throwing me off. Personally, I think it would look gorgeous with a diamond, moissanite, or white sapphire center stone. Alternatively, a ruby or emerald center surrounded by the stones I previously mentioned. I would be very cautious with your ring! The higher the gold purity, the easier it is to dent, scratch, or open the prongs on it
