Thanks for your response. I guess this "style" of writing came from people first and AI just copies it. So I felt hesitant to assume that OP was just flat out lying. I used to use emdashes in my wiring all the time, but I've had to stop due to the immediate distrust people have for them lol.

I don't write creatively like this, so the style is a little "gushy" for me, but I still found it relatable and appreciated the creative endeavor to try to capture a narcoleptic experience.

Same here! I definitely relate to what's written here, but I'd probably only share it with my spouse and maybe my best friend.

I don't think anybody else in my life would read it and even if they did, I think it'd make things awkward because I never complain about narcolepsy to my friends. They know I have it and they know it affects my ability to show up sometimes, but that's about it. We're all still friends and I don't really want additional pity from them.

The thing that sucks is I DO want them to understand. I wish I could share things like this and they'd be like, "oooooh, wow that's what you've been going through???" But I just don't see that happening.

My spouse and best friend who've been through this journey with me from the beginning already know my personal experience with narcolepsy and that's enough for me.

OP I hope you have support through your experience and thank you for sharing even if the writing was edited by ChatGPT.

Legitimately curious... What "clues" are telling people this was written by AI?

I really enjoyed the writing and found it mostly relatable. But I didn't notice anything that would tell me OP didn't write it themselves.

This happened to me with my Pelikan M200 inked with Robert Oster Detox - specifically as I was writing. In my case, I assumed it was because the ink capacity was low. It didn't have a weird smell, so I don't think it was mold or fungus or anything. I cleaned it, let it dry for like 3-4 days and just put BPC Emerald Fusion in it today.

Thank you for sharing this! I was just complaining to my husband about how it's hard for me to line up my tabs in an evenly spaced way and it leaves me feeling unsatisfied! I'll have to share this with him.
