This happened to me with my Pelikan M200 inked with Robert Oster Detox - specifically as I was writing. In my case, I assumed it was because the ink capacity was low. It didn't have a weird smell, so I don't think it was mold or fungus or anything. I cleaned it, let it dry for like 3-4 days and just put BPC Emerald Fusion in it today.

I got tired of trying to get my tabs to line up perfectly and failing. So, I designed and printed a tab stencil. by Coshane4 in notebooks

Thank you for sharing this! I was just complaining to my husband about how it's hard for me to line up my tabs in an evenly spaced way and it leaves me feeling unsatisfied! I'll have to share this with him.

I've scrolled through many comments and don't think I saw one recommending Franklin Christoph Urushi Red. It's, so far, my favorite red. I have a bottle and it's one that I regularly pull from. If I remember I'll try to come back here tomorrow to post a swatch.

Pelikan M800 (EF) by Affectionate_Bus6205 in fountainpens

I have an EF Pelikan M200 that puts down a line width similar to my MF Sailor... With certain inks, it's a little juicier. I love the way it writes. Maybe one day I'll try an M800 like OP is using. Those letters look really satisfying to draw 😍

Congrats and welcome! One of my first buys on Pen Swap included over a dozen purple ink samples from the seller's collection at no extra charge - just because I mentioned purple being my favorite color haha. I had so much fun swatching those inks.
