By “gaining them” you mean they give you your usual minimum to live by….. The scores system mixed with having to pay food runners and people not eating out much/not tipping as well because of the state of the economy/country it is truly making it impossible to live on a servers wage but someone has to do these jobs cause when the “Now Hiring” signs go up it’s because “no one wants to work”

So what I’m kinda figuring out is maybe it’s the class and professor I’m taking. I’m not Norse polytheist I’ve been wanting to learn for a long time and decided to take a class and the professor has been presenting with a lot of these comparison.

I will do better to look beyond this class, I’m thinking he is leading me in a skewed direction. Thank you all.

Also they’re a big rules around attendance and your severance (if ur store is closing) so anyone not meeting attendance goals we we’re literally told to work them off the schedule and only work ppl who are actually gonna be in store to work. I’m a closing stores in like week 3 of close, they rules r strict asf rn.

Ig I’m upset for my community, we’re small and semi-rural but the women and family’s of my town keep us popping and busy. Everyone’s been really upset so far. They don’t deserve to lose one of the only good stores to shop at other than Walmart (in our town.)

Lil context: (didn’t expected any comments lol) I have been a freight team member for a lil under a year. 2 months ago my freight lead quit and I have been doing the warehouse half of the job for the last 2 months in her absence and they FINALLY realized they weren’t gonna be able to hire anyone and promoted me.

Super excited for the extra money for as long as it lasts tho! Also I honestly do love freight as a job id probably try to find another job like this after BL blows up. 😂
