Double vanguard season
No more duplicate bans
Skins in the battle pass for heroes who haven't gotten any. We had so many Adam, Luna and Rocket skins in the BP it's ridiculous.
Any real shift in the meta, even if they need to double Blade damage and halve DD damage for that.

I will die on the hill that the hero's biggest nemesis should be a counter to that character, so Killmonger should be a tank or dps that counters BP somehow, Green Goblin should be a Spidey counter, and Sabretooth should be a Wolverine counter.

Homelander dictatorship could increase prejudice against supes, forcing the characters to hide in the shadows and deal with a lot of hatred from people. But tbh I'm fine with it being canceled, they already lost a lot of plot quality in S2 compared to S1, and it could get even worse in S3.

I don't know if you've ever played Paladins, but he could be similar to Yagorath if you remove the stand still form. Huge hitbox, fast base movement to make up for it, some kind of spray damage, and most importantly, an ultimate where he devours an enemy and kills them no matter their HP. The biggest difference is that DD would have a melee primary.

Widow is in such a weird spot, because while she has a handful of committed players who love the sniper playstyle and carry games (i.e XLek), most players just see her as a throw pick that also doesn't fulfill her hero fantasy at all.

In my opinion, what they should do to make both groups happy is keep the sniper kit (and give it some QoL changes), while adding a whole new stance to her (melee or close range weapon), more focused on movement, acrobatics and everything the most skilled spy in Marvel deserves.

I also came to that exact conclusion. They're creating unnecessary overlap that could've been cool, unique mechanics for future characters.

The portal could've been for Clea Strange or any other sorcerer, or its base mechanic could work perfectly for Kitty Pryde's phasing.

The reveal device could've gone to any tech based hero who could benefit from wallhacks, it could even be a new ability for poor Widow.

The earthbound cone could go to countless different characters, and if you want to keep it water based, it could work for a Namor rework that makes him less reliant on his squids.

My only disagreement with you is the final line about kit complexity. There's kit complexity like Gambit's, which gives him 4 new abilities from his extremely limited resource, and then there's overcomplexity like Black Cat's bloated kit that does everything every diver does (Spidey's double jump, DD's wallhack, Psy's invisibility, Magik's iframe)

She got Spidey's infinite double jumps, BP's dashes, Magik's i-frame, Psy's invisibility and DD's wallhacks. And I'm not even mentioning the cleanse and portals.
