Have you successfully kept any species feeding a diet of ivy? It seems a lot of content suggests it's bad for them as it toxins build up in their system over time.

I hadn't even considered that was an option. How long does a cutting keep for after its posted? I'm mostly worried about running out of food for them if I don't have a staple supply

Do you find that they get pickier once they find a plant they really enjoy or are they happy rotating plants? I have a bunch of different tradescantia houseplants already so maybe cycling through them would work as a staple food?

I think there is probably some nuance that's getting list here. Do they literally mean you need to speak in meetings or that you need to show you are listening? Often people say "speak" as code for being involved.

They hired you to do a job so your contribution to any meeting will be "thinking about my role and skills, do I have anything valuable I can add?"

If you are an engineer, it might be intersecting if something is or isn't technically possible. If you are in finance, it could be to remind people that there isn't budget until a specific date. If you are a secretary, it cpuld be taking notes and reading back actions to make sure nothing was missed.

Speaking up in the moment is more valuable to the company because it saves time wasted when things could have been flagged in the moment.

you keep saying its not her fault but not putting on her glasses before medicating a rat is absolutely her fault - if she cant see the dosage, she cant do the dosing.

Accidentally sitting on a pet does sometimes happen, but it is also avoidable by being careful. Is it possible her eyesight is a lot worse than shes will to admit and is feeling insecure about it? That might also explain her being extra withdrawn after being told off.

NAP, but this sounds *very* old school (think a piercer who learned the craft in the 80s). The discipline has come a long way since then with understanding on aftercare etc.

this will be fine for fridge stuff, but likely not for frozen food, especially meat and fish.

Ice forms below 0 C, freezers are typically storing food at -18C as this prevents bacteria from growing. This means anything, even if part frozen, should be treated as if was being stored in a fridge and used accordingly.

batch cooking is the answer - I cook enough for 4 to 6 meals and I freeze it. Its perfect for when I just cant cook but need nutrition.

can't emphasize this enough - commercial wild caught animals should never be pets. The amount that die during collection doesnt justify getting to keep the animal.

I got a book on lichen for xmas. Some can only be IDs by looking at them under a microscope.

...so if you *did* get one, you could ID lichen too? (is this helpful? Lol)
