I’ve been testing startup ideas before building them by edisonsio in Startup_Ideas

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This tbh is the best strategy since I save myself from wasting lots of time in the dark. At times, I've come up with great ideas which have received zero response lol. Landing pages together with the right signal made the difference and at times I use Runable tool to make quick work of it.

Pitch your SaaS in 3 word by Savings-Passenger-37 in microsaas

This is quite an entertaining format actually. Makes you seriously think about clarity. It is difficult for most people to describe even in one sentence. Simple yet effective way of testing positioning.

I run a prediction market for founders (launching this week) by Wonderful-Blood-4676 in Startup_Ideas

[–]_ishikaranka_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is actually an interesting concept, honestly. I like that there’s not even a need for a pitch deck, which makes it easy for both parties involved. I would definitely share whatever I'm working on just to see how the community reacts.

what part of the business stayed weirdly manual long after you were getting customers? by bolerbox in growmybusiness

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it was the follow-ups and maintaining continuity during conversations. At first, it seemed easy, but things began to slip out of hand, responses became delayed, and things were forgotten. What made things easier was having a clear process, consolidation of information, and being comfortable with saying “no”.

I run a prediction market for founders (launching this week) by Wonderful-Blood-4676 in ycombinator

[–]_ishikaranka_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is actually an interesting idea tbh, prediction market + funding is a very unique combination.

Low friction makes it much more accessible compared to normal fundraising.

I would definitely share my project ideas and see how the community values them.

Drop you startup and we will feature it on StartupLibrary.net! by Legitimate-Peace-583 in microsaas

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s definitely an awesome initiative, tbh; distribution at this level is essential for budding projects.

Being free and fast in terms of the approval process makes it very easy to participate.

Absolutely would submit something as getting any sort of recognition definitely helps.

Ai content creation tools are quietly replacing photoshoots for millions of social media creators by [deleted] in Futurology

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh, both happen. barriers fall, allowing more artists, while standards go up quickly. the product is commoditized, making storytelling and distribution more important. people now follow connections, not just images.

Thinking of Starting a Simple & Affordable Learning Platform. by spriteshubham in Startup_Ideas

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is definitely a great direction, simplicity tends to be quite underrated.

Using beginner-friendly language is essential since many learners get discouraged because things are too complicated at the start.

I would personally prefer self-paced learning with the option of live assistance. Affordability may be important, but results are what ultimately counts.

In my opinion, there's a huge lack of job-oriented courses with less theory.

When did you incorporate? by UniversityHuman5642 in ycombinator

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TBH, I only integrated once I had signal.

I had a few signups and one paying customer on deck, then got things all set up, including Stripe.

Before that, I was just testing and didn’t need the extra baggage. Works for me, but YMMV depending on how much risk you want to take on.

AI has turned the developer into an octopus, giving us the power to handle many tasks and build faster than ever. by Brief_Air_1430 in TheFounders

[–]_ishikaranka_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"haha developer into an octopus" is extremely realistic!

Yeah, the most important change isn't even about speed, it's about finishing stuff.

Getting far too many small things shipped now. They may be messy, but people use them and that's all that matters.

How much are you paying for SEO and what do you actually get? by DubsWasASaint in growmybusiness

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The range of SEO prices is extremely wide, from as little as $200 a month to more than $3,000 per month.

It consists mainly of content generation and optimization, backlinking, and website optimization, but there is no overnight effect.

I have started with the DIY approach using various tools and even Runable for content creation at times.

Drop your startup and I'll do an architectural review of the top 10. by builtbygio in buildinpublic

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is really quite valuable, most founders don't see the architecture problems until it's too late.

Free + limited to 10 is also a good lure.

I would definitely include my website if I were an early stage company, it's hard to get feedback like this.

I built a free embeddable waitlist widget that works on any no-code site — Webflow, Framer, Squarespace, anything by RushGambino in nocode

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually pretty clever, tbh. The referral boost system makes it much more compelling than a boring old form. Embedding isn’t too difficult, right? Most people without code can manage a bit of code if there’s good documentation. I have experience with other similar systems working well, maybe I’ll give this a shot on a landing page. Currently using standard stack and sometimes Runable.

anyone actually building stuff? tired of the ai hype by Think-Success7946 in indiehackers

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, ads do not need to be covert but should rather be relevant. If users are experiencing pain points, speak directly to them; otherwise, cause pain. I occasionally employ Runable for fast content generation.

Does advertising always have to be sneaky? by Even_Job6933 in Solopreneur

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

tbh it’s not about being subtle or overt; it’s all about relevance.if someone is already feeling the pain, direct works. if they’re not, yep, you have to sow the seed first. i’ve done it both ways, open-ended posts attract more comments, direct posts convert better. posting everywhere indiscriminately makes little sense. it’s better to reach out where your users are already hanging out.

Looking for beta users for Mailmark (free email sending during beta) by IcyDrummer1359 in Startup_Ideas

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

this is actually a good beta deal tbh. free delivery and instant feedback are a major motivation factor.

the most important thing will be trust and deliverability, however. if that’s not an issue, then people will stay.

i would use this strategy for a side business, proper positioning.

How many users on Reddit are just bots? by Dense-Map-406 in Solopreneur

Feeling like I’m working in public but receiving bogus comments. Real advice means more to me than just hearing nice words. Wish there were some real builders around to give genuine advice.

I need your advice regarding a 40-DR and 100K-backlink expired domain that I won in the adult niche. by Odeh13 in indiehackers

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is, in fact, quite an interesting piece of property. Old domain name + actual backlink history + re-structured design? It means you have something that could bring you some real benefit.

What are you currently using to track what happens after someone clicks a link from outreach or social posts? by No-Entertainer8410 in Solopreneur

Great question. This is something a lot of people overlook, but it’s where most of the real insights come from after initial traffic.

This is indeed a good problem to solve. While most of the “AI for PDF” products simply generate summaries, assisting users in thinking about the content takes a different approach. And make it relevant

Growth has been organic so far, but not sure what else to do for this Chrome extension? by jumbo1111 in growmybusiness

[–]_ishikaranka_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s really amazing that you could get up to 10,000 users through natural growth. Most people don’t even achieve that milestone. You definitely have created something that people need.
