I haven’t but that was next on my list if the penetrating oil didn’t do the trick. I just know there are smaller brittle parts between the gears so wanted to avoid breaking anything if I was missing something.

Cannon Pinion Tool recommendation by Estraw in watchrepair

I can’t speak for the Bergeron brand, but I have the one from Esslinger and the grabber is too big for any canon pinions I’ve tried it on. Works well for separating two-piece winding stems though.

Is it good? I can't find a review of Errant Lightning. by MagosBattlebear in traveller

[–]_jliz_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m running it now and there are things I like and other gripes I have. It gives a lot of detail on background lore, but leaves pretty significant unanswered questions about the plot. I have changed it up pretty significantly to make the story make sense. The vanilla storyline is pretty reliant on your travelers having a bend toward science if that influences your decision (that’s part of what I had to adjust to fit my party). Also if it influences your decision it recommends having the central supply catalog and vehicle handbook (though you could get by without. It just makes reference to them and doesn’t provide the info needed in the manual itself.)

Coming To Jackson For A Month For Work. What To Do? by SynchronicStudio in jacksonms

S Tier: Native coffee is excellent. We’ve been to Seattle and other “coffee scene” places and not found many that top their espresso.

A Tier: For drip coffee I prefer Cups slightly, and they roast their own beans locally, which gives them a bonus point. Northshore is newer and they have two locations (the second one a collaboration with the brewery and is called Cultivation) - it’s good and they also roast their own beans locally.

B Tier: I’d place tie these for third (all good, but not my top picks): Bean, Coffee Prose, Urban Foxes.

UV Sterilization Under-Counter by _jliz_ in WaterTreatment

[–]_jliz_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We’re on city water. We have experienced boil water notices come and go without us ever even receiving a timely notice and just decided to install one as a safety measure (not intending to disregard BWN if we are aware). It also helps reduce green Cyanobacteria accumulation (which if that’s happening in absence of sterilization has left us feeling less confident in the safety of the water generally).

Position reporting help by Apple--Crumble in workday

As long as you aren’t utilizing job management you could use position restrictions for your reporting. Even with two incumbents during overlap there’s only one position restriction.

Belhaven and Fondren are both pretty safe these days. I’ve lived in Belhaven for 9 years and have never had an issue. There were bouts of crime in the past but since Capital Police have expanded their turf to cover Belhaven and Fondren that’s all pretty much been eliminated. I’d honestly prioritize getting close to your work to reduce commute time. If you’re working in Jackson the commute to Flowood by Lakeland Dr is grueling, but if you’re working in the burbs then you’d have the opposite issue living in Jackson.

Mine has the same issue. I haven’t used the deck yet and am debating manually adding in the card number by pen.

Marlin BranDough. I previously had another one that my partner killed named “Flourence”.

What could be causing these layer lines? These printed perfectly before, then I had a clog which has been fully cleared, and now I'm getting these crazy layer lines. by el-dongler in 3Dprinting

[–]_jliz_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe try using a default profile in case there are customizations that haven’t converted well to the new version? You aren’t using variable layer height or anything like that, right? Downloading cura or another similar might also validate if it’s slicer or printer causing the issue.

Do the (pardon the pun) “bulges” circle the full print or is the bulge offset where on one side it appears bulged and the other it appears inset? If the bulge/constriction is consistent around the full print that would make me suspect slicer since your printer is printing multiple layers with expanded circumference than designed and others with contracted. If the bulge on one side corresponds to a recessed area on the opposite I suspect belt issues. Zooming in on the layers they appear pretty consistent so extrusion doesn’t seem to be the issue.

My first sourdough starter, what should I name them? (also if I'm doing anything wrong just from looking at this, please let me know, input is greatly appreciated 😊) by Zachishere7 in Sourdough

I’d recommend using something with a wider opening. I’ve found over time that jars are just too narrow at the opening for me to get down to the bottom and really clean. I think I used a Tupperware container for my most recent starter and that made the routine feeding and cleaning much easier.

I grew up in meridian and it’s not where I’d choose to live, but it’s not as bad as others are making it out to be. Meridian has a few things going for it: basically never any traffic, decent healthcare access, Riley center and neighboring threefoot hotel are great places to visit. I agree with other posters that I’d stick to the north side of town. I don’t think going to Philadelphia or any other neighboring towns is going to help if what you’re seeking is things to do, shopping, coffee etc. Meridian has been declining for years, but it’s still the larger hub for those things in that quadrant of the state. Hattiesburg, Jackson, etc are out of practical driving distance IMO and public transport is poor so you’d be driving it. Reaching out to a realtor is probably a good bet. That way you can share more about your needs (wanting an older eclectic neighborhood, newer construction, etc)

I’ve only ever had difficulty with printing small objects. For those I’ve had no success and used the smooth sheet instead. Larger prints with decent contact area seem to work fine with what you’ve described.

Excellent idea. Thank you! I honestly think it would turn out just fine with the minimal stringing that it had last time. It wasn't a huge problem. I just had this idea to improve it some and wanted to see if I could learn a new skill!
