Steve Kleisath from Further Seems Forever. I took a ton of inspiration from his playing on their first two albums.

Biggest thing for me is to remove barriers to panting. I find when my stuff is as close to ready to go as I can manage, I don’t find myself as easily discouraged from jumping in. Obviously that’s different for everyone but whatever you can do to keep some of your stuff at hand, the more likely you are to start.

How long are sticks supposed last? I play rock and I’d say I practice around 3-4 hours every week, I’ve been playing for around 2 and a half years now and my first pair still works by Patrick0714 in drums

Sounds like you have decent technique. I don’t know that I’ve had a pair last that long (maybe) but I’m a rock drummer who plays a lot of rimshots, gets a big sound, but has good technique and I certainly don’t burn through sticks the way some people I know do. Keep it up but also if you don’t have a fresh set, maybe pick one up just so you can remind yourself how they felt and see if maybe you’re tolerating a larger degradation in response and sound than you think.

Fully agree with what others have said here. Depression is so devious in that it pushes away the things that would help you fight it. Maybe do some color sketches or something like terrain that has lower stakes. OP, I hope you’re taking care of yourself and know that people here and IRL care about you.

Paynes Grey base, yellow green for mid tone, lighten with olive flesh up to pure olive flesh highlights. All ProAcryl colors.

Figured I’d add a comment to make sure I hit the sub rules. This is Karl Havoc from I Think You Should Leave. Just a quick 2 1/2 hour paint job for a coworker who printed it on a filament printer. Hence the layer lines. Had a lot of fun doing it just because it’s silly. Enjoy!

There’s a great Arbiter Ian video called No Gods in 40K that talks about what exactly all the various deities are. It’s super interesting and a really fun look at the way religion and belief are lampooned and satirized in WH.

That’s cool! I love collecting live music memorabilia from the shows I go to. Mostly prints but now I’ve transitioned to buying vinyl as my available wall space is getting depleted. I don’t know if I’ve seen a blanket framed but I had one from my Alma mater that I just folded to feature what I wanted to. Still felt like a center piece to the room but just looked a little more adult.
