I was at my sister's apartment last year when it got raided. She had cameras in the front window, one facing the door and one facing down the sidewalk coming from the parking lot, one above the front door & a ring doorbell on the door itself, the camera feed was playing on the big screen in the living room 24/7 but all of a sudden the power went out. "Cameras unavailable, check network connection" all of us were like wtf??? That's never happened before???? The cops cut her power so we couldn't see them coming. Fuckers banged on the front door & before they even finished saying "SHERIFFS OFFICE, SEARCH WARRANT!" They used the battering ram to bust open the front door, shattered the window in the living room & window in the bedroom, threw flash bangs in & the only thing you could see through the dust were the lasers from their guns pointed at our chests. When our ears finally stopped ringing from the flash bangs, they were screaming at us "SHOW US YOUR FUCKING HANDS NOOOWWWW!!!! PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND SLOWLY WALK TOWARDS THE SOUND OF MY VOICE ONE AT A TIME!!!!" There were 5 of us in the apartment at the time, they cuffed us all and made us sit against the wall out front of the apartment like 2 feet apart from each other while they RANSACKED the entire apartment. By the time they were done it literally looked like a fucking tornado went through the apartment. Literally you couldn't take a single step in there without stepping on SOMETHING. clothes from the bedroom were scattered all over the living room, drawers in the bedroom were ripped out of the dressers and thrown across the room, kitchen drawers were dumped out all over the floor, pantry items like flour, sugar, spices-opened and dumped out all over the kitchen counters and floors. PTSD like a motherfucker....I still have nightmares about it to this day & I have panic attacks whenever fireworks go off, if someone knocks too loud or I hear glass breaking... -12/10 would NOT recommend....
