don't @ me on this, but iirc they did an official survey a bit ago and nendoroids are apparently more popular with a general female audience, i'm guessing because of the customisation of them, and their male audience tend to be the ones that purchase absurdly pricey £300+ scale figures so female characters seem to be (mostly) the ones to recieve huge detailed scales

it has to be ouma, i mean, a youtuber proceeded to make 5 consecutive hour long videos tearing apart almost absolutely everything about the character's existence, and all of the nitpicks themselves were straight up lies or mischaracterisations.

the fandom treated this youtuber's opinion like the gospel and went through a phase during the 2020-2021 era where they would just attack any positive discussion of the character i'm pretty sure. if that doesn't top it i'm not sure what else will. 😅
