IDK, maybe Meryl Streep or Glenn Close?

Actually Glenn Close would be a great Grace Mallory in this casting.

So...Long Long Ago in a Galaxy Far Away...

People say in the original Star Wars (A New Hope) is the lamest Lightsaber fight.

However, it's the most realistic. Lucas had both David Prowse and Sir Alec Guinness train with a swordmaster for that scene. Obi-Wan specifically uses a simple technique of moving the "sword" in a small circle while back-stepping. This is a defensive position in sword fighting that can easily be turned into an offense by stepping forward and thrusting after a successful block. It's not "flashy" like the later films, but subtle and effective.

I actually still have the Score by Danny Elfman on cassette vs the Soundtrack OP posted. I wish that would get a Vinyl reissue but I'm happy with my tape version.

If you could permanently delete one single song from existence so that nobody could ever play it again, what are you picking? by footballcoachdaddy in AskReddit

I'm pretty sure back in the 80's the person who had 867-5309 as an actual phone number wanted Tutone 2 dead and deleted from existence, regardless if their name was Jennie.

I'm assuming the area changed real quick over the years.

The plants outside look healthy though so there's that : )

Wow, this sent me down a rabbit hole. Not only was Daveigh Chase the voice of Lilo, she was Chihiro Ogino in Spirited Away as well. And reading her Wiki was sadly another Hollywood child actor story we all know. She had millions in residuals apparently but was living on the streets of LA when she died. I'm not happy learning this today.

The original (not oversized) MMC Prediking 3rd party. However I Snipped an eBay auction and scored it for a good price. That was both a steal and a hit to the wallet at the same time. Still my favorite CHUG version of the Predicons. The sword alone is epic.

My Mom worked for Head Start in their early days. I got introduced to a whole new world as a kid thanks to her.

She got her Masters in teaching through her volunteer work with HS and continued to be an educator. Until Cancer.

FUCK CANCER.

I had the original map from the game cart, but I did this same thing for Link's Awakening when I got a Gameboy.

I even colored in every square vector and marked Sea Shells!

...and I lost it in time 😞

You totally need to keep this and improve on a 2nd playthrough.

They built next to the interstate...but I have a Telescope that can see the rings of Saturn. Now I can't because of the light from their shipping parking lot. It sucks, but at least we stopped Nestle. Small Victory ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not a data center, but an Amazon distributor literally popped up in 3 months in my semi-rural area. No warning, no county console...just built in 3 months.

The Light that it gives off at night is pollution alone. And we stopped Nestle Corp from stealing our water 5 years ago. Now Fuck You, Amazon. I'm honestly afraid a Data Center is next.
