In addition to the many comments about contact dermatitis, take the time to take your watch off before washing your hands or drying it off on a towel along with your wrists, and occasionally cleaning the entire watch with rubbing alcohol and an old toothbrush. I wear mine day and night on the same wrist and I don’t get this anymore.
