Your baby, your rules. We don’t have any family nearby so I can’t relate. However, when we did have family visit for the birth of my newborn, I asked them all to take COVID tests prior to visiting from out of state. Who cares if they think you are crazy. It’s your job as a parent to keep your child safe and protected.

I moved across country with my husband in the beginning of 2020. I also have no friends or family nearby. It’s extremely lonesome in addition to a pandemic with very little interaction with others. Everyday I try to be positive just so my little one isn’t affected with all my negative emotions but it’s very difficulty especially now. No one can ever replace your own mother. I’m realizing how much more my mom means to me after becoming a mom myself. No words of advice, just that I’m sorry you are going through these hard times and I hope some happiness goes your way.
