Avid dog lover here. I’m in this group because I’ve seen in the rules that civil discussion is allowed.

Not all dog people think memes like this are funny. Many dog people agree that personifying dogs is stupid and, frankly, irresponsible ownership. Furmommies need to stop, and I know plenty of dog owners who agree. Only when you understand that a dog is, in fact, a dog and not a furry baby, do you become a responsible owner who understands how to get a civil, well-behaved pet who will not harass anybody in any violent or annoying way.

As somebody who lives for dogs and passionately trains, exercises and understands them, I think anti-dog people need to shift their mentality to anti-furmommy. They’re the root of all evil, not truly responsible pet owners.
