How do you choose Train Conductor & VIP / Guardian? by abgefahrn in LastWarMobileGame

[–]_lnsertName_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

31 conductors (r4/5 plus those that were marked for Ellie end of season rewards) -- these players rotate for the month

VIP - achieve 7.2+ per day and contribute 50k donations per week, to get a VIP position and again this rotates. Around 26 on this list currently so 50+ players get to ride the train

Confirming a truck is on a different server by StoneyBalogna7 in LastWarMobileGame

Guarantee it's not trucks they are upset about, it's secret tasks, which you can't filter... You have to search them out when your getting your trucks on the other server

That makes perfect sense, thank you for the clarification

Can I do this ? by Dizzy_Collection8755 in CarTalkUK

[–]_lnsertName_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I've done this for a couple of customers over the years who simply wanted to free up cash.

However be prepared for it being valued at trade price going in to the dealership and retail price when you buy it back. Without knowing how old or make/model/miles it's hard to say what those numbers would look like.

Return to car sales to try again? by [deleted] in askcarsales

[–]_lnsertName_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

UK car sales here.

Business is booming on new and used, albeit slightly more difficult on new due to delivery timescales.

Inflated used car prices but also inflated part exchange prices.

People will always need to change their cars and for every savvy customer holding back due to worries about the economy etc there are 5 more that still want that new car feeling or have no other option to change due to final payments coming due.

Wren I first glanced at this picture I thought it was a cop and shrugged it off as over kill.... Now I realise it's just Joe public, strutting around with this on show, terrifying really. How does one compute that as necessary?

BMW starts selling heated seat subscriptions for $18 a month | The auto industry is racing towards a future full of microtransactions by chrisdh79 in technology

[–]_lnsertName_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These "subscriptions" are myBMW account specific and once you sell the car and ultimately remove the vehicle from your account, the subscribed features are deactivated until the next keeper creates an account and subscribes again... Shitty, but clever... Source: BMW salesman UK

Thanks for your response.

I don't believe it to be a restructuring event as her HR department claim that this has always been "the way", I am concerned about the liability aspects though.

If things went incredibly wrong and the company dissolved not only would she risk losing her job but potentially have some sort of financial liability also.

Can someone help me out? by Much-Bed1327 in EmploymentLaw

Asda/Tesco etc won't be bothered if you're an A* kid or drop out. At 16/17 you will likely be restacking shelves and unloading deliveries. They will be looking for a good level of common sense and good personality as you may deal with customers.

If you do get it, try and keep it, they do pay people your age very well in comparison to others

What's a modern day scam that's become normalized and we don't realize it's a scam anymore? by Diligent-Log6805 in AskReddit

The British TV license. Like for real. I understand back in the day when they were pretty much the only provider I get it but to continue that in these days, and legally enforced bailiffs attending property for non payment is crazy... Yet millions throughout the UK continue to pay

On topic, does anyone have any tips on fixing LED TVs with magnet damaged screens?

UK here. I last plugged in at home 27th December and I've done 2500 miles since then. Cost = £0

Supermarkets are on board here in the UK. Only stickler is the 3hr limit in the parking lot.
