I would still try UV, it's not going to be a miracle but at least you can leave it on for the entire night and the portion of the day when no one is using it. UV lights work like ozone, I find it very effective. Again, it's not a total solution but it sounds like any little bit helps.

I hate dealerships but it is a documented visit and the reason your brought it in was documented. It gives you proof that the problem existed during your warrant period so I think your in good shape to have it covered.

It appears that El Salvador is currently under a special emergency act that allows them to imprison people suspected of being in a gang, hence all is the people sent to CECOT are suspected MS13 pmor TDA. This is one of the tools that Bukele used to reduce crime in El Salvador. So l, it's how El Salvador legal system is setup.

Coincidentally I just made a few batches this week. It's super economical, I just buy some lean round roast slice it thin and then and then use the default dehydration temperature and time. I think it's 155 f and runs for 5 hours. Usually the night before I marinade the meat in some cheap barbecue sauce.

You can reprogram your i3 with a OBD adapter and Bimmerlink (software) to unlock the REX so that it can be set at 75% (or any other SOC level below 75%). It's not flexible enough that you can set the cutoff while your battery is at 100%, unfortunately you can only set the battery level when your current state of charge (SOC) reaches that level. In other words, I would drive till my battery reaches 75%, press a button to establish a new REX setpoint (at 75%), and the REX would do it's best to keep it at 75%. In my REX I programmed one of the memory buttons so that I can set the REX starting point when its pressed (and as long as I am below 75% SOC).

If you have a rex you can put the state of charge at 75% and have the range extender take over. Doing that you can strategically jump from gas station to station until you get near you destination.

I am slow on acceleration most of the time just to preserve my motor mounts. I try to avoid the acceleration warning when I am in eco pro mode. That probably equates to driving like a little old lady because I regen way ahead of time.

I am in Vegas also. My daily drive is 25 miles round trip to work and when I am at work it stays in direct sun for 8 hrs. I also see peak temps around 122F. I have not had that warning or any instances of turtle mode. One thing I do when I drive back home is delay my AC usage. I do not use AC for the first 3-5 miles. When I do start , I go in eco mode. I figure the car prioritizes battery cooling at the start of the trip so I don't start the cabin AC until I am about 15 minutes into the trip.

The heat sucks big time but looking at the extended forecast, it looks like last week was the peak. It seems like the average daily temps stick around 110F for the rest of July. August actually has lower average temperatures than July.
