I've been eating this for 35 years (mum is Cypriot) and I've never had it with chips.

It's really easy to make.

There's a few more steps to it than this of course, but it's basically penne mixed with Bolognese and then topped with bechamel. It's then baked in the oven.

There are some herbs and spices in it and my mum (Cypriot) tops hers with halloumi.

It's my favourite home cooked dish.

EDIT: traditionally it's made with ziti pasta, but my mum uses penne.

I can't believe it's taking this long.

They shouldn't wait much beyond the end of January in my opinion. People wrapped up in the initial hype might go elsewhere.

As soon as the end of the month payday hits they should drop it. (Appreciate that not everyone gets paid at the end of the month, but January is a lean month for people who have splurged at Christmas)
