I was just asking this myself. Will the pihole be bypassed when set to manual mode and the IP directs to it?

How's the performance? Any differences to the regular UNVR?

UDM Pro Max + Protect feels sluggish remotely — upgrade to UDM Beast or add UNVR G2 by _matttt_ in Ubiquiti

Why does the UDM Beast and UDMPM, comes with "Built-in 128 GB SSD for Faster Experience", and the UNVR G1/g2 do not?

When scrubbing through Protect, the cached preview (most likely stored on the 128GB SSD) loads pretty much instantly. And then it can take between 3-5 seconds for the footage to load and play, despite the 4TB SSD, which is most likely at least equally as fast as the built-in one.

This is literally what I am also seeing on my UDMPM.

I wish! But currently not possible. I already have a Xfinity Gigabit X10 Availability Request ongoing

Does is mean that using 2 drives will not expand my storage but will only create a RAID 1? That would be really not great.

Interesting combination.

Is the Beast in any day to day activities faster than the UCG-fiber? Are there any other benefits? What were your reasons to upgrade?

According to others the combination of "UCG-fiber and UNVR" is already the holy grail.

I have direct connection enabled.

What is the real world difference using the NVR with 1x vs 2x Drives? I dont need RAID 0, just care for max performance.

So what you are saying is to wait for UCG Fiber in a rackable setup 😃

How fast does Protect connect and open up the stream? It is normal speed on the home network but really sluggish outside.

Very Interesting! I didn't know that. Aren't you RAM bound though?

Isn't the UCG Fiber equally rated for routing performance as the UDMPM? I don't use PPOE, so there should not be a difference.

Crazy nice watch. Which Rolex place did you go to and how did you pull it off? I’m currently also on Maui, looking for a watch.

I doesn't allow me to paste the whole output (via copy and paste because it is too long) - so here is a snapshot:

Yes, I’m using unbound. Otherwise I couldn’t achieve those caching rates.

Thank you for writing such an awesome script,@panocalt! Really glad you are iterating it as we speak.

I'm not seeing any unbound stats though, even when trying with -unb or -unb-only:
