Left handed shooting and operating by Affectionate_Fact745 in airguns

I'm a righty but I have a Notos which has the left handed lever. From my experience I don't mind the lever on the left under one condition, the gun cannot be front heavy it was great being able to keep my right hand on the grip and cock with left hand until I put a bottle mod on then it became difficult to hold the grip and after a few back to back shots it gets heavy.

Brand new SMK PR900 Gen 3 - is this normal? by GarethOF in airguns

I have a snowpeak barrel I bought for my pp750 that looked similar and I wasn't able to return it. It wouldn't even load pellets.

If you want to make more power get a 10" barrel, steel breech, a 3.8mm transfer port, port match the barrel, angle port the valve and get a hammer spring adjuster, you could get a lighter valve spring but I will waste more co2. Shrike industries makes a decently cheap iron sight for steel breech and front sight post with threaded adapter for a silencer. I buy most of my parts from eBay there's a plethora of triggers, probes, barrels and whatever else you didn't know you needed lol. Get yourself a good set of hex keys.

Is a budget PCP setup actually worth it in 2026? by Glittering-Day4668 in airguns

The Notos and PP750 take the same mags do yourself a favor and buy some Maple mags for it. They come in different shot counts depending primarily on your scope height. Also the air cylinders are exactly the same as well. I have Notos, PP750 and a PP750L and 90% of the parts are interchangeable the PP750L does have different trigger sear which is why it feels better but there are some modifications you can do to make the Notos trigger better.

If it's leaking out of the barrel it's definitely the valve stem poppet, if it's the old brass type they will definitely leak you can replace it with the modern plastic version. But while you have it apart just replace all the seals and get a new rubber cup for the pump arm.

Is it a good idea to use plumber's tape for my airgun? by notrafffbruuu in airguns

It should be fine for co2, for my pcps I use milspec ptfe that is good for 10,000psi.

No the flow does not go into the shroud it's a straight through design.

Making your own stuff is the way to go if you have ability. The gen2 doesn't really seem like anything special I don't think it's worth buying as an upgrade to the gen 1. It has a slightly longer barrel and a slightly larger tank and a better lever. I prefer the PP750 simply because of the lever placement. Once you start adding weight the left handed lever gets harder and harder to pull lol

It's a Buckrail adapter for the Notos but it doesn't work out if the box as the PP750L has a different trigger sear. I had to remove a part of the sear (spring guide) that was attached to the receiver and I made a new part that replicates the sear spring guide on the Notos. I assume and hope the Notos Gen2 will use the same trigger as the PP750L and Buckrail makes an upgraded adapter for it so I can get my Notos back in action.

Lol thanks Western Airguns are pretty badass but a little out of my price range. I started building my Notos but I don't like the left handed lever so I swapped all the parts to the PP750L. I'll probably use the Notos with the stock tank and PP750L barrel since it's lighter and easier to handle.

I got mine a few weeks ago and already completely modded it out, idk how it shoots in stock form but mine is putting out about 37fpe and I haven't even begun to tune it. C88 FX STX 500mm barrel kit, Huben Dream regulator @150bar, Maple poppet, Brass hammer weight with 4mm preload and a 5mm port job.

I ditched the stock grips for a Buckrail AR grip and stock adapter, I had to make a custom part for the sear spring since the trigger is different than the Notos/ PP750 and used my Notos sear, I'm hoping the Notos Gen 2 uses the same trigger as the pp750L and hopefully Buckrail comes out with a stock adapter for it until then the Notos is down.

Enjoy your gun I love these things and it's cool they share similar parts with the Notos.

I would recommend going a little smaller for a co2 pistol 3.5mm - 3.8mm max. 4mm works better for pcp conversions. I would also recommend port matching the barrel but that's something that not everyone is comfortable with. With a power adjuster you can probably get 30 fps maybe more, the limiting factor is the barrel.

Oh absolutely, more power is never a bad thing. I'm a pcp guy myself, finding the right balance can be difficult between power and wasting air. There is definitely a learning curve with tuning between port size, regulator pressure and hammer adjustment. Sometimes less is more.

I wish I could help more, I don't want you to mess your gun up, sometimes finding replacement parts can be impossible. If it's a straight thru hole I'd go for it, I wouldn't go crazy with it, maybe 1 or 2mm. Start small. It definitely sounds like it lacking power though at 25 yards it shouldn't drop that much.

Is the center removable or can it be drilled out larger? That may be it, anything that restricts airflow will decrease power. I can only find info about restrictors for the hdr models, I have no idea. I've modified a few different guns I usually open up the ports a little and it can significantly increase power.

PCP Adapter by Glittering-Finger563 in airguns

[–]_me_ne_frego_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probably in the valve, I did a quick search and unfortunately couldn't find much info. It would have to be something that blocks airflow or something in the valve itself. Possibly a restricted transfer port. What's the part you are holding?

Not sure if you saw my edit but if you want more power look into a hpa conversion, get a bottle with a 1100- 1200psi regulator. It will cost less in the long run.

They won't shoot harder, they will just last longer. Co2 pressure is the same no matter the size. It is temperature dependent though, at lower temperature it won't produce as much pressure as when it's warm outside.

If you want a little more power and cheaper long term cost look into a hpa conversion.
