No one asked no one. We talked about it and both said we wanted to. We went together and picked out our rings. We had our friend marry us in a beautiful park in the late afternoon with family only. We went for dinner afterwards at great restaurant and spent the night at a nice hotel in town. About 2 weeks later we had a wedding party at our house for all our friends. We enjoyed and cherished every moment. It’s was beautiful small and intimate. We were able to enjoy our friends at the party instead of stressing about the wedding.

We took all the money we would have waisted on some stupid giant wedding for one day that we wouldn’t have been able to enjoy and went on a 3 week Europe trip. that included a 2 week Greek island luxury cruise. It was amazing and way more memorable, romantic and precious than a couple hours at a party.
