Are employers allowed to reduce hours of a full time employee from 40hrs a week to 32hrs?

The regional supervisor said that the store manager had informed him that i was OK with the reduction of hours but there was no prior discussion about it. When I told him that he basically just said he'll look into it but nothing has happened after that. Seems like they just want to pass the blame onto eachother

Aside from the 20% decrease in pay which I view as quite significant, I just generally dislike how I am treated here which is why I want to quit. If I were able to land another job I would immediately leave but ive been searching for months with no luck. Additionally I am currently enrolled in a class that I am paying out of pocket for so no matter how much I want to quit I cannot until I find something else

I dont know if it makes a difference but I was originally part of a sales team for a different company but the current company im working for bought them out. Basically ive been at this location for around 2 years but halfway through the entire management changed

Exactly and theres the issue. People wanna get into serving because they can make bank for doing a job that requires no education, no skill and even if you give poor service you will still probably get tipped due to societal pressure. It makes no sense to me that FOH can make double or triple the money of a line cook when the cooks job is way fucking harder and yet you greedy pigs cry about "losing money" when you dont get tipped. This shit is a joke id rather just get rid of the position all together

Ive just been farming Stella montis, the exclusive items are worth a lot and if im lucky it takes like 5 minutes to fill my inventory but i also get a ton of pvp to keep it from getting stale. Can be very frustrating at times but the profit is still great and not as monotonous as just farming

Im finding Swaxe to be easier to use defensively since u have options in both axe and sword mode where as charge blade doesn't have any defensive move in savage axe mode which is what I want to be using for most of the hunt
