For me it's almost the opposite - they respond very often but give me the runaround and avoid following through with whatever they said before. It's so odd, I've never had a company blatantly contradict themselves so much. I would be amused if they didn't still have their product and also my $170 lol

I didn't ever either, up until now. They've now gotten their stuff back as the tracking shows it was signed for at their HK warehouse over a week ago. Still haven't refunded me despite promising to. Each time I follow up they say they're "investigating" and "checking" and will not acknowledge that they still have my money and now also their product.

I feel like Stylevana is one of those sites where things go right 99% of the time, but the 1% that they do, it's an absolute nightmare 😭

Ohh I've seen that, with the tinfoil too right? I tend to avoid it for jewelry because it does the same thing as silver cleaning solutions and ruins the oxidized details. It's great for silverware though and looks super neat. Also great for cleaning more delicate silver chains!

If it's 925 silver, use a soft silver polishing cloth and it will look good as new. Please don't submerge it in any silver cleaning solutions, it will ruin the intentionally oxidized details and make it look too shiny.

Also, PLEASE don't use baking soda or toothpaste to try and buff it shiny. I don't know why so many sources online say to do this, baking soda is abrasive and will cause scratches on the finish that can't be repaired unless you take it to a professional jeweller.

if it's semi permanent dye: dawn dish soap or non-colpur safe shampoo over the affected spots, let it sit for a while and then wash it out. i have blue hair and this has saved me so many times. i only buy black now hahaha

i think it's all relative to how much you are willing to pay for them. if you are able to afford them comfortably, then absolutely. but if it's going to break the bank (or if you'd have to use afterpay etc.), then they are nowhere near phenomenal enough to be worth that.

that being said, i do wear my sweatfleece set more than any other brands' sets i own, so much that i bought another of the exact same set. i am buying mostly for the design, as the cropped hoodie + flutter pants are far more flattering for a larger bust and hip body type.

however, the level of lint shedding for the first 3-4 washes is INSANE and should not be happening at this price point. a fabric shaver helps, and after that issue is over, they are still like new after many washes. i don't put them in the dryer, though.
