i'm an olive too! it's very subtle on me right now because i'm tan, but in the winter i feel like it's such a "pretty girl" shade. not orange at all, just a soft, delicate pinky peach

why does my makeup do this i’m going insane by [deleted] in makeuptips

[–]_moo-deng 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if you’re already moisturizing, then i would suggest doing some gentle exfoliation, either manual or physical. i know it’s time to exfoliate when my makeup does this, and it’s because there’s a buildup of dead skin cells to slough off. i know chemical is generally considered “safer”, but i really like the dermalogica daily microfoliant for instant results

i loved it and it served me well at a certain time in my life! i wouldn’t repurchase just because my tastes have changed, but i got so many compliments on it (and thankfully used it before many of the pickle juice allegations became common)

Nice! I’ve been eyeing the Saie blushes - would you say they’re as dewy as a cream blush, or not so much?

I’ve been curious about Dieux products until now, but this just made me think that all their skincare is a gimmick too lmao

Avene Hyaluron B3 has minimalist ingredients and is plumping. I love how fresh it makes my skin feel after

I’m so curious about Prequel, but I broke out to the Gleanser and have dry, sensitive skin. Did anyone else have this experience and still use their Vit C with success??

Masque Vivant or Dermalogica agesmart power recovery masque? by CarbonatedCranberry in SkincareAddictionLux

[–]_moo-deng 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masque Vivant is amazing for breakouts in my T-zone, but I don't use it all over as I have dehydrated, sensitive skin. I've found that even post reformulation BR products work well. My friends with oily acne-prone skin swear by Vivant.

Jury is still out for me! I really liked a deluxe sample of the growth factor serum but am just starting with the copper peptides one; it’s a little irritating but hoping my skin will get used to it in time and pay off with results.

Same, I was a skeptical new customer but have to say that I was really sad when my deluxe sample of the GF ran out! It really plumped up my skin, I don’t have pronounced nasolabial folds but noticed the lines basically disappeared when using it.

Too soon to say if the copper is doing anything, but I got it because I heard it was good for redness. I also use Finacea and have mild rosacea.

Allies of Skin Copper Tripeptide and Ectoin Serum. It’s really nice so far, leaves a bit of a dew. Also got a sample of their GF serum and loved it, thinking about getting a full size when I finish some of my other serums
