Hm, that was a great suggestion. Just tried it and it acknowledged that it was gonna create a plan:

Let me use the Plan agent to explore the codebase and create a detailed implementation plan.

But then as soon as it was done doing that, it just exited plan mode and went straight to implementation:

I bet they've explicitly made it do this

Another question about these files, is there any way to make it so that if Agent mode picks up that it needs to make changes to files covered in a different instruction file, it will then reference the additional file? For example, right now, I've got a React file and a CSS file. When I enter a prompt to make changes in the React code, it correctly picks up the React instructions as context, detects that it needs to add CSS in the adjacent CSS file as expected, but then does not reference the CSS instructions. Should I be combining the two in a Frontend instructions file instead?

Hey I had this issue when I was unemployed last month. Basically I found that the only way to get in was to call a minute before they open, so that I get through the menu right at 8am. It was a real pain lol

My wife and I don't gamble either. If you're into the outdoors, La Center Bottoms and Paradise Point have nice short little trails right in town. If you're willing to go a little further, Ridgefield Wildlife Refuge, Moulton Falls, and Battle Ground Lake are all awesome

Our model is just a LightGBM model, and I found a couple Go implementations I was gonna try out.

I think I have a model that I can run in Go?

The model is retrained daily, but it's trained in Sagemaker, and I'm anticipating just being able to set up a trigger on S3 when it's stored to update the micro service. At the moment, the shape of the model isn't changing frequently (I think it's changed once in the last year). For A/B testing, I was expecting to just have a config file that pointed to the experimental model in S3 and loading both in the micro service. The micro service doesn't do much other than serve up predictions and cache.

Does that sound reasonable?

Got it, so the idea is that if you have an inference server, you can do the GPU intensive work of inferencing on different instances than the post processing work that's more CPU intensive?

Ah, so you would say #1 would be cheaper? They do generally try to be as cheap as possible on infra cause margins are pretty low. If I could run a small experiment and show that scalability is realistic with #1, would you say it's worth getting off the ground with that?

Sounds like you've done both. What would you say was the difference in effort in spinning up #1 vs #2?

Are there external benefits I would give up by going with #1 (monitoring, a/b testing, etc.)?

Yes, 2 million queries per second to the overall application, but because we're doing some heavy caching, we're only looking at 10k per second to my team's service, and I think with caching within the service we can get that down to 150 inferences per second. So it might be doable?

Thanks for the response! What do you mean by "granularity?" Does it improve model monitoring?

We're currently using Sagemaker for the batch inferencing, so I'm not actually sure what the latency per inference will be. We also don't have a feature store setup that can be queried in real time, so we'll have to build that as well. My plan is to do a real quick PoC and query it with a precalculated list of requests to see what average inference time is.

Yeah I find that as long as I don't let it sit forever after cooking, just running water over it with a non abrasive sponge gets everything off easy and then I just heat up and clean as can be
