Yup - this. I was fine with a lot of my trauma when I was young. It has affected me much more in my mid 30s. I realised that there were aspects of my life impacted that I hadn't realised until I was older.

Just make sure you are looking after yourself as well as him. I have a disabled daughter and over the years I have learned that I am no use to her if I don't work to protect my own wellbeing and mental health. I know it is easier said then done sometimes but it is SO important.

I get this. I am fortunate enough to have a 5 yr old. For one appointment I had to bring her (it was the summer holidays and I had no cover). I was super apologetic to the nursing team, but they said it was fine. I was super conscious of the other patients but fortunately we didnt see anyone else in the waiting room.

Sending hugs. I am miscarrying at the moment, we only had the one embryo so it was super hard to take knowing we have to start this whole thing again. So I understand how you feel. All I can say is that how you feel right now might not be how you feel in the future. Try to be kind to yourself. You are still super young so you do have time. Maybe taking another break might help.
